I actually approached several of my mates with the idea of going diving and they all thought it was a great idea and surprisingly none of them had ever done it. So off we went on one of those Scuba Diving Holidays and I have to say that it was absoulty fantastic.
The Destination
We actually went Maldives Diving as we thought this to be a great way to start our diving experiences and boy were we right. There are over 2,000 different species of fish in this area of the world and I am pretty sure we spotted a fair few of them. We also spotted a couple of whale sharks and this is what got me into the whole Shark Diving mindset.
On Return
When arriving back home I found myself immediately wanting to go back and enjoy all of it again which is why we did 6 months later and then again a year later. I really had wanted to see more by this time and Great White just kept coming into my head. So the next idea that I put foward to the usual suspects was of course, why not try cage diving with great whites?” Some of them thought I was mad and really didn’t want to it and others jumped at the chance.
The Great White
The Great White has always been at the top of my fears I had wanted to conquer so being lowered down in that cage I was very nervous indeed. The words to decribe that day have never really come into my head. Since then we have returned a couple of times and next year we are hoping to do it without cages!
Great Whites are not as bad as people think and they have been known to let people touch them and even hold their dorsal fin, always have a professional on hand though!

Hey guys I think that everybody needs a vacation some time. I mean most people spend so much time at work to make the all mighty dollar that once you have made some good money there is really no time to have fun with the money that you make so I am putting this article out there in hopes that it will cause people to have fun with the money they make!
Planning a vacation is an easy process but it does take a little bit of work to make it a good vacation. Here are the steps you can follow when planning your next trip:
1. Make sure you have a charge card – Unfortunately in todays market, charge cards are an extremely important thing to have when planning a trip. It is very hard to make a hotel reservation without giving the hotel a charge card number. Same goes for airfair car rental and more so make sure that you have a credit card. You really want to go with reward cards so you can be rewarded for every dollar you spend while you are having a good time
2. Research where you want to go – Sometimes people think they want to go to Egypt and once they arive there, they don’t like something about it and want to go back home. Don’t let this happen to you, look at all the aspects of different countries and make your decission based on what you think that you will enjoy the most!
3. Make a budget and stick by it – This is also very important to be able to have a good time with no regrets. You don’t want to come home from a vacation only to get back into worry mode trying to figure out how you are going to make your bills.
4. Make reservations at least a month in advance – To be able to enjoy a vacation you will want to make reservations early so you make sure you can be where you want to be when you want to be and not have to worry about anything. This is also where the charge card comes in handy because it is hard to make a reservation without one so make sure you have a card by the time you reach this step.
5. Plan your trip – Once you make your reservation to your hotel and purchase your plane tickets, you want to make sure that you are gonna have a good time. Take a few minutes to research different tourest attractions in the area that you are going to be. Figure out how long each will take, when they open and close and plan your trip accordingly.
6. Pack enough supplies – Make sure you pack enough supplys and a good rule to follow is extra is not enough. You don’t want to go get wet and have nothing to change into now you have to break you budget to buy new cloths.
7. Take your trip – Enjoy your vacation everyone!

Most people believe that the gift be being creative is a little like belonging to a exclusive club that only extends invitations to a very select group of people. Others might think that the gift is something you must be born into like the great artist families of our time. Although I lack great skills in the world of art, I am still a fan and often seek out paintings, vases, sculptures and art books to fill the walls, coffee tables and other spaces in my home. But all people have creativity and artistic skills that they like to play with. Yet, as humans we have a natural tendency to seek out and explore new ideas that can boldly change our lives. This explains some of the good things that we often do like dancing and singing in our automobiles.
In this series of articles, we explore several weekend getaways in America that are sure to please any professional translation worker. Some of the areas include exciting destinations in the cities of San Diego, Tampa and Washington D.C. The translation and interpreter workers in these cities prove it to you once and for all that art is not a spectator sport. Art is as natural to the people of these cities as the beautiful landscapes that line these communities. This is by no means an exaggeration. For instance, professionals in Tampa Translation Services companies often spend their lunch breaks dancing and drumming and singling in foreign languages. In my home city, we work hard in our jobs as Washington D.C. Translation workers to follow the rules and rein in the imagination. That’s why it is so important that when we do take a break that we continue to exercise our creative muscle. These vacation ideas are certainly not drab and they will definitely leave you with something to remember. Not just that, but these breaks will also give you a chance to do something constructive like paint a picture, built a kite or learn to dance.
When it comes to vacations that are packed with ideas to reinspire, we know a number of places that will relight your creative juices.. Henry Kissinger once suggested that all successful nations have made great artistic achievements. I strongly believe that the Hispanic people of California, who helped create and inspire the Tango dance would strongly agree. Historically, the now world-famous tango was one of the first dances where partners were actually allowed to touch each other. It is hard to disconnect Argentina’s olden times from the provocative dance that has its roots in the secretive parts of culture and gradually, over time, found its way into ordinary society and different continents of the world.
One company that you might have read about, The California Tango Company, specializes in tango dance lessons in San Diego, where the dance first landed in America. The company, offers 3-, 4-, 5-, 7-, 10-, and 14-day tango vacations that include daily lessons, a personal practice partner, and an instructor that is usually from a local San Diego Translation Services company. As an added feature, the translation instructors who teach these courses will even take you around to various milongas in California. For those still learning the tango lingo, a milonga is the place where the tango is danced. The opening of a milonga is sort of like that at a country western bar. Basically, it opens with a few free lessons and demonstrations to get you in the rhythm. The tandas are separated by a cortina, a musical break during which the floor is cleared and new partnerships are formed.
Larger than both and Europe, Antarctica contains 10% of the land mass in the world. As daunting as it is expansive, Antarctica endures frigid temps of negative 89 degrees Celsius, and can incur winds of up to 192 mph! This body of land is encircled by the Southern Ocean, which is comprised of the southernmost waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans.
However, these frigid, icy waters contain some of the riches nutrient flows on earth, allowing for life such as whales, dolphins, seals, large fish, penguins, and birds of flight to survive in an otherwise inhospitable land.Trapped beneath the massive ice shelves, micro organisms, also more commonly known as krill, multiply.Krill is one of the main foods for whales, seals and penguins and is even eaten by humans in Japan.antarctica travel brochure
The animals residing in Antarctica are well adapted to the cold, dry and windy conditions. It has a yearly precipitation of merely 200mm around the coastline (and much less inland), and has the greatest average altitude of any continent. The many different species of algea, vegetation, and animals that have evolved to stand the extreme cold.
There is a very unique condition here in Antarctica that makes it critically valuable to mankind.Antarctica has a high pressure atmosphere which means the molecules which compose the atmosphere are highly concentrated, thus the Greenhouse Effect over Antarctica is more pronounced. The sun produces radiant energy which is absorbed by the earth’s surface, the earth has begun absorbing more heat at the poles and as a result both the Arctic and Antarctica are becoming warmer.
Our atmosphere is comprised of approximately 79 percent nitrogen and 21 percent oxygen.Additionally, in very small quantities, methane gases and carbon dioxide also exist. These gases, combined with water vapor, reflect radiation back toward the earth causing it to warm. This process is called the greenhouse effect.trips to antarctica
The poles acquire carbon dioxide and methane at a faster pace than more temperate areas, due to the “slingshot effect” at the equator.Because this tremendous heat generated by the Greenhouse effect is so much more extreme than that of other areas, Antartica is the subject of a great deal of scientific scrutiny.
The ice covering Antarctica is nearly three miles thick. This tremendous thickness is a build up of snow accumulated over many centuries.Scientists study core samples by analyzing ancient air bubbles and atomic isotopes to better understand conditions in prehistoric eras.
What is often referred to as the “hole in the ozone layer” was caused by the release of CFC’s–chemicals used as propellants. These CFC’s destroy ozone. As the temperature rises in the Antarctic, immense shelves of ice “calve” into the sea creating new ice bergs.
These enormous ice sheets then float north and eventually melt. This melting increases the volume of water, thus increasing sea levels. Not to mention the krill loose their food source and habitat for reproduction.
When all of Antarctica’s ice melts, sea levels are expected to increase to over 180 feet. That means the sky scrapers of New York City would be fully submerged in the ocean from the 20th floor down.Other, low lying countries like Bangladesh and islands in the South Pacific may end up completely under water.
Antarctica is a land of beauty unrivaled, as testified by many of the people who have been there. There are many opportunities to observe wildlife. The combination of natural magnificence and the purity of the wildlife is something to treasure.
To keep Antarctica protected and fully saved in its purest magnificence is a wish and a goal for generations – today and tomorrow alike. However, the destruction of this continent has been ongoing for a very long time, and irrevocable damage is being done to it.Numerous countries have formed a coalition for the express purpose of reversing this negative trend and saving the beauty of Antartica.

In Antarctica some the the highest temperatures only reach a minus 25. These are during summer months, like December.Depending on the weather, a hurricane type wind could come sweeping across the glacier and freeze your eyelids shut if you were unfortunate enough to be out when it blows. The South Pole may well be home to the earth’s most ungracious, relentless environment.
Maintaining the United State’s permanent station here is no doubt the world’s most isolated and yet significant scientific outpost.Until recently, only approved researchers could set food in Antarctica. Now, tourists with enough money can take a charter flight out to see the harsh but wonderful wastelands of the South Pole.antarctic cruises
There is not much to observe but white. From the South Pole, you will not be able to find a penguin for a thousand miles. However, being able to say that one has stood at the South Pole is something that few can claim.
The scientists and other workers who inhabit The Pole, likely look askance when considering the station as a tourist attraction, as the site is strewn with cranes and bulldozers that continue to develop the station. But is doesn’t stop visitors, as the do come frequently during research season.Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done to prevent it.
There are no nations that lay claim to ownership of Antarctica. However, there are 43 nations that have signed treaties to protect and study this mysterious landmass that covers an area as large as that covered by Mexico and the United States together. The U.S. staffs three large stations throughout the year, even during the Pole’s winter, which lasts for eight months without a ray of sunlight. The crew working at The Pole is bound by the understood laws of the Ice, to assist any visitor, wanted or unwanted, who manages to cross the 90 degree south latitude line.great antarctic cruise
Due to the lack of knowledge about this land and the fact that it stands at 10,000 feet above sea level, visitation by untrained people is not promoted. They’ll just get altitude sickness, and get ill from dehydration and frostbite.
Back in 1975, when the dome originally opened, it was able to accommodate 33 men.Now the two hundred men and women at the Pole crowd into every bed that is available.Summer Camp, as it is called, consists of manufactured plywood, plastic, and canvas bunkhouses that sprawl across the glacier.
Similar to many camps, there is no limit to the amount of water used at Summer Camp.It costs twelve dollars for each gallon of fuel used to melt enough ice to wash laundry, flush toilets, and take showers, so these activities are considered infrequent luxuries. If you want to use the communal bathroom you have to make a slippery and teeth-rattling journey over the ice and through the cold. The temperature doesn’t change much even when the sun is blazing at 3 a.m.
Military escorts were assigned to Antarctica’s first female researchers. Now, you will see that one-third of the summer work force is women who are treated as equals to men. There is a toll that has to be paid to the Pole.
It has been scientifically proven that extreme cold temperatures make it take three times longer to preform a simple task then it does in warmer temperatures. This is because the brain’s chemistry reduces the hormones you need for problem solving and increases those needed for physical activity. The conditions are even worse in the winter.
It is in mid February that the South Pole is virtually deserted as the last aircraft leave the area. Those few, 28 men and women, will stay on the frozen land through the next six months of harsh winter. It will remain dark until spring arrives in October, and the daylight and aircraft return to the continent.
Take a vacation and spoil yourself in a cheap hotel
( Before reading consider a holiday and book a hotel using our Cheap Hotel Prices website )
This article explains a few things about vacation, and if you’re interested, then this is worth reading, because you can never tell what you don’t know.
If your vacation facts are out-of-date, how will that affect your actions and decisions? Make certain you don’t let important vacation information slip by you.
Surveys are interesting. I took note of this one done recently by American Express because it backed up some data I learned at the (National Association of Female Executives) NAFE National Conference in May. According to the survey, 40% of the smallest business owners – those with less than $200,000 in annual revenues – are planning no vacation whatsoever this summer. But even business owners with higher revenues aren’t doing much better – only 75% of them expect to get away from the business this summer.
As we were told at the NAFE Conference, even those business owners who do get away from the office, won’t truly get away. Rather, one in three will link their vacation time to a business trip and 50% will still check in with the office at least once a day.
Why can’t business owners let go? What are the concerns that keep them tied to the business? According to the survey:
* An important client or customer will not receive appropriate service
* The business will miss out on a new opportunity
* There is no other competent person to leave in charge
* The individuals left in charge will make the wrong decisions
* An operational or equipment breakdown will occur without anyone to solve the problem
( Remember why not consider a holiday and book a hotel using our Cheap Hotels website )
Such concerns are not surprising. It is hard for a business owner to take any type of vacation worry-free. But with planning, preparation and good leadership you can boost the enjoyment level of your time off to come back refreshed and ready to tackle new challenges and opportunities. Here are 8 steps to prevent vacation angst.
1. Make a plan – To avoid surprises, create a list of scenarios on your current projects and brief your staff on the possibilities and your major concerns about each client. Assign specific staff to each client/account so there is someone that clients can speak to who understands their concerns when you aren’t there.
2. Brief your key clients or customers – Offer them advance notice of any extended absence you are planning. There’s no reason to keep your vacation schedule a secret. Introduce them to your deputy and convey your confidence in their ability to handle any issues that may arise. If appropriate, consider letting them know how to reach you should a true emergency arise – not that one will because of all your pre-planning.
3. Leadership is being a delegator not a dictator – If you never delegate important tasks to others, you can’t expect them to be ready to fill your shoes when you want to take time off. To create a saner situation and build confidence that good things will happen when you aren’t there, learn to delegate responsibilities – divvy up those pieces that must still happen in your absence and postpone those that can wait for your return.
4. Strategically schedule your vacation time – Most businesses have a slow season or times of the year when the pace is slower, or at least a bit less crazy. Plan your vacations to coincide with those lulls.
5. Mini-Vacations – If you just can’t let go of the business for a whole week or two, or you can’t bear to be too far away from the office, try taking a few days out of town, or extend a weekend somewhere else. Even a brief escape from routine with a change of scenery can do wonders for your perspective and re-energize you.
6. Disconnect entirely – When you do take a vacation: turn off your cell phone, don’t bring the laptop, don’t check your email, don’t bring work with you and avoid the temptation to call or visit the office to “check up” on what’s happening. If there’s an emergency they can’t handle, they will find you.
7. Take time off to sharpen skills – If you just can’t justify taking time off to kick back and relax, then take time off to learn something new – business or personal. Taking continuing education courses at a local college or business school is a low-cost and effective way to break from your office routine, be with new people and try new things. Some programs are 3-5 days off-site if that fits your schedule better.
8. Keep your priorities straight – When you go through the exercise of listing the things you really care about, is your business really #1, 2, and 3? Outside of work, your priorities might be connecting with family and friends, spending time with kids, cultivating personal interests, staying healthy or pursuing an avocation. To regain balance in your life, you need to keep work, family and personal time in perspective. Those other priorities help you find more enjoyment in your time away from the business.
So now you know a little bit about vacation. Even if you don’t know everything, you’ve done something worthwhile: you’ve expanded your knowledge.

It is strange, but among a great number of cyclists, there is a considerable quantity of groups which, having united and named itself somehow, ignores the others. Selecting a group to adjoin is influenced by the advertising, labels of clothes and marks of cycle producers. As a result, people turn into parody of a biker, and lose a spirit of cycle racing behind this commercial tinsel and fashion for extreme.
Dear owners of bicycles, if you are bored with going for a drive to the same well-known tracks and parks, try to get absolutely new impression, which was not accessible to you earlier, become engaged into cycle tourism.
Dear extreme-lovers, owners of cool downhill cycle; do you know that, among the stars of extreme sports there are heaps of tourists?
Cycle tourism is a team sport, and first of all, it is necessary to find those who will go with you. Good team is 2-4 cyclists, and it is really great, if these people have an experience of travelling together. Actually it can be difficult to find a good group.
First of all choose a route. Every route consists of convenient places for halting and bivouacking, there are also surrounding countrysides and places of interest, length, road surface, duration and weather. Let’s talk about this.
Duration is the time which you must spend on a trip, if you are a beginner go on a two-day’s trip or even one-day trip (from morning till evening) if you do not have touristic experience at all. Usually one-day trips are named the Day off trip, because it occurs during weekend or holydays.
Road surface happens to be asphalt and earth. Earth rode means not only usual wood tracks, but also light soil, sand-gravel ground (grader). Passability of earth roads depends on precipitation and temperature. Passability of sand roads at the end of spring, in summer and in early autumn raises after rain, dry sand is a death for a biker and a bike. In late fall, after the first autumn frosts sand becomes an excellent covering, very pleasant for driving.
If you live in a hilly country, you have difficult route waiting for you, and it can be hard.
Extent is length of a route in kilometers. It is possible to measure length on a map, or if you want more accurate result, you need the program for work with GPS (OZI Explorer).
Surrounding countrysides and places of interest are woods, fields, settlements, cities. Something interesting can be found out by you about them while surfing the Internet for descriptions of those places, where your route passes.
Places of halts and bivouacs are the places where you can stop for a dinner and spend a night. First of all, it will be good, if this place is far (more than 2-3 kilometres) from settlements, roads, and if you can find there clean water, firewood and a place camping and building a fire. It is possible to estimate their location on a map.
